Day by day 4-day tour

Book
  • The adventure begins with an early departure from Siem Reap, riding eastwards through quiet countryside and small villages. The first major stop is Beng Mealea, a sprawling temple complex engulfed by jungle, where moss-covered stones and giant tree roots create an atmosphere of mystery and discovery. After exploring, the journey continues north to Koh Ker, once the capital of the Khmer Empire. Here, the highlight is Prasat Thom, a striking seven-tiered pyramid temple that towers above the surrounding forest. The day ends with an overnight stay in a simple guesthouse near the ruins, offering a chance to experience the charm of rural Cambodia.

  • Start at 8:30 AM with a scenic ride through rural Cambodia along red-earth roads, passing remote villages and local markets for photos and authentic encounters. Stop at the Kbal Spean waterfall.

By early afternoon, join a guided tour of the conservation center (~1.5 hours) to learn about rescue and breeding programs for endangered species such as pileated gibbons, the white-shouldered ibis, and Cambodia’s “Royal Turtle.”

Stay overnight in an local homestay nearby.

  • Depart at 8:00 AM for Phnom Kulen, the sacred mountain where the Khmer Empire began. Visit highlights such as the “River of a Thousand Lingas,” Preah Ang Thom pagoda with its 8-meter reclining Buddha carved from sandstone, and Phnom Kulen Waterfalls for a refreshing swim (bring swimwear and towels). Lunch can be a picnic or enjoyed in a nearby commune.

In the afternoon, descend through Angkor Archaeological Park (~50 km), riding past the ancient walls and gates of Angkor Thom. Return to a hotel near Siem Reap by late afternoon (~3:30–4:30 PM).

  • The day begins with an exploration of a hidden lake and a vast mangrove forest, followed by a picnic lunch. This final day is designed to be highly flexible, allowing us to adapt the schedule to your wishes: whether you prefer more riding time (to the Baray reservoir for instance), a slower pace, extra time for photos, or an opportunity to gather with locals during the ride. Afterward, we'll cool down at the Botanical Angkor Garden, ending the adventure with a relaxed drink to share stories about the tour.
